Three people were taken to the hospital Sunday afternoon 28 October 2012 after a plane crash in Sevier County.

According to authorities, five people were aboard when the plane crashed at 4875 Top Road. The call came in around 2:44 p.m.

The pilot of the plane lost contact with the airport within four minutes of take-off. They say there was a warning going off on the plane, and due to poor visibility, the plane crashed.

The passengers, a family of five, were able to make it out of the plane before it went up in flames.
